At 4DI SHRIMPS, we take great care to ensure that your shrimp arrive healthy and safe. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand our procedures and policies regarding the shipment of live shrimp.

Shipping Destinations
We currently ship live shrimp to:

Domestic: All states within the United Kingdom and Wales, where permitted by law.


International: Selected countries worldwide. Please check our international shipping options during checkout or contact our customer service for more details. Note that some countries have strict regulations regarding the import of live animals.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
To ensure the health and safety of our shrimp, we offer the following shipping methods:

Express Shipping: 1-2 business days. This is our preferred method for shipping live shrimp to minimize transit time and stress on the animals.
Shipping rates and available options will be displayed at checkout based on your location.

Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. We only ship shrimp from Monday to Wednesday to avoid weekend delays and ensure timely delivery.

Packaging
Our shrimp are carefully packed in insulated containers with appropriate cushioning and temperature control packs to maintain optimal conditions during transit. Each package is labeled clearly as containing live animals and handled with care.

Tracking Your Order
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can track your order using the link provided in the email or by entering the tracking number on our website’s tracking page.

Live Arrival Guarantee
We offer a live arrival guarantee for all our shrimp shipments. If your shrimp do not arrive alive, please follow these steps:

Notify Us Immediately: Contact us within 2 hours of delivery with a clear photo of the unopened bag and the deceased shrimp.


Provide Documentation: Include your order number and any other relevant information.
We will review your claim and, if valid, provide a replacement or refund for the deceased shrimp. Please note that the live arrival guarantee is void if delivery is delayed due to carrier issues or if the recipient is not available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international shipments, customs duties and taxes may apply. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check with your local customs office for more information on potential charges and regulations regarding the import of live shrimp.

Shipping Restrictions
Certain regions may have restrictions on the shipment of live shrimp due to local regulations. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of and comply with any such restrictions. We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be shipped legally.

Return & Exchange Policy

Return & Exchange Policy – 4DI SHRIMPS

At 4DI SHRIMPS, we do our utmost to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. To avoid any misunderstandings, we kindly ask that you make your purchase thoughtfully, and if you are unsure, please consult with us before placing an order. Please read our Return & Exchange Policy for shrimp to understand our procedures and guidelines regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of live shrimp, we do not accept returns. However, your satisfaction and the health of the animals are very important to us, which is why we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee, as outlined in our Shipping Policy.

We will review your claim and, if deemed valid, we will offer either a refund or a replacement shipment of shrimp.

*Note: The guarantee does not apply if the shipment is delayed due to courier issues or if the recipient is unavailable at the time of the first delivery attempt.

 

Exchanges

If you receive shrimp that are not as described or if there is an error in your order, please contact us immediately. We will work quickly to resolve the issue, which may include:

  • Replacement: Sending the correct or healthy shrimp in place of those that arrived in poor condition or were incorrect.

 

Refunds

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  • Dead on Arrival: If shrimp arrive dead and you followed the steps outlined in our Live Arrival Guarantee.

  • Incorrect Order: If you received the wrong species or your order was incomplete.

Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the time your claim is approved and will be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where the error was on our part (e.g., incorrect or damaged order). If a return is necessary, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
