Blue Devil OE is a selectively bred ornamental freshwater shrimp from the Caridina cf. cantonensis group.
It belongs to the Tiger / Taiwan Bee lines and carries the OE (Orange Eyes) recessive trait, prized for its deep blue body with bright orange eyes, creating a strong color contrast in aquariums.
🔎 Appearance
Body color:  blue, ranging from lighter blue to solid royal blue
Pattern: high-grade specimens are often uniform in color or steel graded where tail is lighter then the head
Eyes: vivid orange (OE) — main distinguishing feature
Size: ~1.5cm (unsexed juveniles)
Females: larger, deeper blue
Males: smaller, lighter or more translucent
High-grade Blue Devil OE show intense solid blue with clean, bright orange eyes, giving a dramatic visual effect.

Blue Devil OE shrimp require stable, soft, acidic water, similar to other Caridina OE lines:

They are sensitive to sudden water changes or high mineral content, which can affect coloration and molting.
